Mudança de paradigma: justiça restaurativa

RESUMO: O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar o novo movimento denominado justiça restaurativa. Este movimento representa uma virada do atual sistema penal porquanto implica num processo de diálogo entre as partes – infrator, vítima e comunidade – tendente fundamentalmente a reparar o dano (sentido lato) ocasionado pela infração e restaurar a relação entre as partes. Justiça Restaurativa é a arte do encontro.

ABSTRACT EM INGLÊS: The objective of this article is to present the new called movement restorative justice. This movement represents a turn of the current criminal system inasmuch as it implies in a process of dialogue between the parts - infractor, victim and community - tending basically to repair the damage caused for the infraction and to restore the relation between the parts. Restorative justice is the art of the meeting.
